Stuff, lately

Every morning we all get up and eat PANCAKES or YOGURT and we say Bye Bye Daddy and Aaron goes to work and Dylan says Daddy Plane Up Up Sky. It's her longest sentence ever and Aaron says he always wanted to be a pilot anyway.

Snuffy and I ran past a grizzled old dude and his enormous grizzled old dog-bear, who he had to restrain when we went by by wrapping the leash around a large tree.

Aaron and I have for years been discussing whether to tweak our land line/Internet/cell phone arrangement because that's the kind of thing we do for fun. Today a man from the phone company showed up at our door asking to re-evaluate our service plan. Yes, an unannounced door-to-door customer service representative from the phone company seems odd (why not use your "phone" services to give us a warning call so it seems more helpful and less life-threatening? maybe something for the customer service department to mull over...), and if Tommy and Aaron hadn't been hulking menacingly (you know how they are) in the background I wouldn't have let him in at all. But! He spoke our phone-service-plan-evaluating language and lowered our monthly bill and gave us more services. Any suggestions for new conversation topics for me and Aaron are welcome.

Snuffy had his annual check-up today and he is in excellent health. The vet said she thought he was quite a bit younger than he is. I think he was blushing happily under his fur. And she complimented his muscles, which is vindicating because as you know we devote much of our lives to making sure he gets enough Snuffercise.

This is a bad section of the playground due to the roving gangs of children who have staken claim to the tubes. Don't mess with them. That's Dylan's buddy there and every morning at daycare they run over and give each other a big hug. But otherwise they are quite tough.

I think I can take them.

The transportation-daddy theme may be genetic. Kate said "Daddy bus work." But she repeated it to an annoying degree. Dylan is definitely less annoying.
