Scrub Scrub Scrub

Dylan napped for a total of one hour this weekend. Saturday night she was up from 11:30pm to 4:00am and last night wasn't much better. My working theory is teething, compounded by demonic possession.

*passes out on keyboard*

This was a particularly bad weekend to have virtually no respite from the darling child. Remember a few months back when we got the house tested for lead? And needed to replace all the windows RIGHT NOW? Yeah, as you may have surmised from my lack of excited posts about progress, that turned into a months-long saga, culminating a couple weeks ago when Aaron called the guy we had been working with and heard from the outgoing message that the guy was no longer employed with the company. Anyway, we soldiered on and they're going to be here to start work today at 8:00am. They said three days, so I'll be happy with two weeks. In preparation we thought we ought to clear a path to key areas of the home where the work will be done, except that it's the entire house. We spent the weekend cleaning and are in no way grumpy about it, thanks. Oh right, except for a quick break on Aaron's part to attend Sol's Nascar Party:
I wish we had taken some before or during pictures of the cleaning because the chaos was spectacular.
